Messages are read by a person and answered when a reply is useful. Please allow a few working days.
What this inbox is for
- Corrections. Something out of date, misdescribed or simply wrong. Say which entry and what the correct position is, and it will be fixed or the passage removed.
- Hotel suggestions. A property that genuinely belongs in one of the four categories. Suggestions are welcome from readers and from hotels themselves — but a suggestion buys nothing, and every entry is written independently or not at all.
- Rights and permissions. Questions about text or photography used on the site.
- General editorial questions. Why a hotel is described the way it is, or why something is not covered.
What this inbox cannot do
- Make, change or cancel a reservation. Merovale is not a travel agent and has no relationship with any hotel's booking system.
- Quote prices or check availability. Both belong to the hotel.
- Resolve a complaint about a stay. That has to go to the property, or to the relevant consumer body where you booked.
- Arrange press rates, partnerships, paid placements or link exchanges. These are declined as a matter of policy and are best not sent.
Writing from a hotel
If you work at a property covered here and something in its entry is inaccurate, say so directly and it will be looked at quickly. Factual corrections are welcome regardless of who sends them; requests to soften an accurate description are not.
